The Annals of New Netherland is a series originally developed for our corporate donors. The idea was suggested by Bob Hiensch, the Consul General of the Netherlands, who saw the need for informative essays and articles relating to the history of New Netherland. The first publication appeared in 1999 with costs underwritten by the Consulate General. Future publications will continue to appear in both booklet form for our corporate donors as well as placed on the website for dissemination to a wider audience.
