The Board of Trustees of the New Netherland Institute administers three awards. Two of these, the Hendricks Manuscript Award and the Alice P. Kenney Memorial Award, are annual and endowed. The Howard G. Hageman Citation is presented occasionally for particularly noteworthy support of the New Netherland Project and the New Netherland Institute.
