| The WIC ship, Wapen van Amsterdam (Arms of
Amsterdam), arrived in NN on July 28, 1626; among the passengers was Isaack de
Rasiere who was sent over to serve as secretary to Minuit. See his letter to
the directors in New
Netherland Documents. The ship took on the cargo stated in Schagen's report
and sailied to the Netherlands, arriving at Texel on 23 September with the
former director Willem Verhulst. |
